One of my most requested recipes is the stoup (stew soup)that I serve over cous cous. I’ve never shared it until now. Comfort food at its best and now I’ve made crockpot friendly!

Ingredients
  1. 1 pack chicken legs
  2. 1 cup cubed butternut squash
  3. 1 cubed yellow squash
  4. 1 cubed zucchini
  5. 1/4 of a large head of cabbage rough chopped
  6. 3 celery stalks large chop
  7. 2 large carrots chopped
  8. 2 Yukon gold potatoes chopped
  9. 1/2 large onion chopped
  10. 1 can of chickpeas rinsed and drained
  11. 2 tablespoons chicken consommé powder I use Osem
  12. 1 large cinnamon stick ( no don’t use powder)
  13. 1 tsp turmeric
  14. 8 cups of water
  15. A tiny pinch of saffron
  16. 2 bay leaves
  17. 1/4 tsp dry ginger
Instructions
  1. Basically all you need to do is place the chicken in the pot followed by the veggies and spices add water cover cook on high2 hours and simmer on low for 4.
