When you see the word M A T Z O You automatically think Pesach, however this is actually a recipe I use all year round. It happens to also be a great Pesach recipe too…I get asked all the time what my recipe is so I figured now would be the perfect time to share.

PS: Can you believe it’s almost Pesach already?! Are you ready? I’m not!
PS: did you know matzo balls are one of my favorite foods?!

Ingredients
  1. 1 cup matzo meal
  2. 1/2 cup oil
  3. 4 eggs
  4. 1 teaspoon baking soda
  5. 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  6. 1 teaspoon salt
Instructions
  1. Mix all the ingredients together, refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  2. Boil a pot of water, Form the matzo ball mix into balls and drop them into the boiling water ( bare in mind they grow!). Cook for 20 minutes on low flame.
  3. Shut the flame and cover the pot and let them sit.
Notes
  1. You can cook the matzo balls directly into your chicken soup instead of in boiling water if your soup is boiling!
