Mac & cheese is a classic dish in my family, we have it at almost every family gathering. It’s huge crowd pleaser!

Ingredients
  1. 2 lb elbow noodles
  2. 1/4 cup butter
  3. 1/4 cup flour
  4. 2 1/2 cups milk
  5. 3 cups cheese
  6. salt and pepper
  7. Topping: 3/4 cup corn flakes
  8. 3/4 cup panko crumbs
  9. 2 tbsp olive oil
  10. salt,pepper, paprika
Instructions
  1. Boil noodles, but undercook a minutes or 2
  2. In a small saucepan combine butter and flour and cook for 4-5 minutes until lightly browned. Slowly whisk in milk so no lumps form. Switch to a wooden spoon and add cheese. Stir until melted. Mix cheese sauce into noodles and pour into sprayed pyrex.
  3. Combine topping ingredients together and sprinkle on top. Bake at 350 uncovered until bubbling, around 45 minutes.
