Mushroom Umami Hamentashen by Jacqueline Elbaz | @stuffffed

A delicious spin on a classic Hamentash!

Ingredients: 1- 2 packs pizza dough
2 boxes baby bella mushrooms, diced
2 small onions diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
Diced parsley (about 2 tablespoons)
Teaspoon and a half trader joes umami spice 
 
Directions:
Sauté  onions for 4-5  min til translucent
Add garlic, 2-3 min
Then add the mushrooms…cooking down til water released from mushrooms evaporate
Add a pinch of salt
Add umami spice 
 
Put a heaping teaspoon of filling into the dough, then shaping into a hamentashen
Bake at 350-375 for 15-18 minutes
While hamentashen is baking, on a low flame, make a balsamic reduction using balsamic vinegar…cook down until thicken, until desired consistency
After lahamagene has come out of the oven, drizzle with the balsamic 
Garnish with parsley.
