Meat Pizza

The Kosher Guru brings you a new recipe

Meat Pizza

Pizza is always a crowd pleaser. Lately the options of toppings and variety has been so much fun and out there. I especially love making meat pizzas as they are fun as a shabbos side or even a dinner for the kids. It’s always warmly welcomed by both my kids and guests alike.  I use Meal Mart pre-sliced corned beef and add a honey mustard “sauce” and it’s like having my go to corned beef that takes hours in like a 5 minute prep ok maybe its 10-15 minutes on a pizza. I also use mini store-bought pizza dough and its comes in whole wheat for those looking at a little healthier option so it really is a snap to put together.

Ingredients

  • Meal mart pre-sliced corned beef cut into strips
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp mustard
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • I large onion sliced into strips
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Mini Pizza dough’s (I used Mazors from the frozen section but you can use any dough)

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • In a pan add oil and sauté onions till caramelized translucent and cooked through about 5-10 minutes.
  • Add corned beef strips to onions and sauté for additional 2 minutes add salt and pepper to taste (you probably don’t need the salt).
  • In a separate bowl prepare honey and mustard sauce by mixing until uniform.
  • On a cookie sheet lay out 12 mini pizza dough brush with honey mustard sauce.
  • Add your corned beef topping.
  • Bake for 10 minutes.

Serve and enjoy!!!
