Deli Rollups

Deli meat has been a staple growing up. We used to go to my grandparents and have “whust” parties every Sunday.

It brings such fond memories to me when I see the deli meat so easily available in the supermarket. Meal Mart has definitely brought us the deli experience available right in our own homes. It’s super easy for the kids to take for lunches but also makes being creative in the kitchen a snap. Deli Rollups are a super easy dinner for the Little’s but also makes a great Shabbos addition as well.

Ingredients

  • Meal Mart sliced pastrami
  • Meal Mart sliced corned beef
  • Meal Mart sliced smoked turkey
  • BBQ sauce
  • Mayonnaise (can be low fat)
  • Puff pastry squares defrosted
  • 1 egg beaten

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • Lay parchment paper on a cookie sheet.
  • Defrost puff pastry squares.
  • Lay out pastry squares on the counter.
  • Roll out pastry with a rolling pin to thin out a bit.
  • Brush a little mayo on each square.
  • Brush some BBQ sauce on each square.
  • Layer your deli meats one on top of the next (you can also just use one variety I like using all 3).
  • Roll jelly roll style and place on cookie sheet seem side down.
  • Brush each roll with the egg wash.
  • Bake in oven for 15 min until golden brown and puffed up.
  • Serve with mustard or your favorite condiment.

Enjoy!
